Just right

Liked: Group of friends and all enjoyed the evening
Disliked: Thought main meal could have included more vegetables (only had carrot, potato and parsnip)

Stayed over for Murder mystery...

Liked: Booked single room but was given a double which was nice. Nice big towels, good choice of cooked items at breakfast.
Disliked: No bath mat so found very slippery & felt unsafe, also bath once got in very very unstable & moved & dented when in shower didn’t like that experience.

Disliked: Very basic, reception no one there, Upon driving up it’s a golf club, basic at that, had to upgrade my room as single rooms looked like prison cells.

Poor value for the price

Liked: Food good but self service breakfast not so good. Kept running out of fruit & croisants. Coffee machine overfilled cups
Disliked: Temperature in room and hotel on arrival. Had to ask for heat to be put on.Very noisy in corridors, bar & restaurant

Perfect for what we needed.

Liked: Fantastic value for money and great location. Nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Lovely view from the captain’s suite. Delicious breakfast.
Disliked: Just dated but they have tried their best to modernise on a budget.
