Warm welcome, great food, needs...

Liked: Great location close to the promenade and town centre. Andy, the owner is a charming host, and I couldn't fault the welcome. Breakfast was outstanding and in a very pleasant dining room.
Disliked: The decor was ancient and quite grim. My single room was a decent size but only had a view of a 50 foot wall no more than a couple of metres away, so virtually no daylight. The decor was very dated, the carpet had seen better days, and the private bathroom involved crossing a corridor. The lock was falling off the bedroom door, and the bathroom door only closed with a hefty shove.

Great and worth a stay...

Disliked: Private bathroom was on the itherside if the corridor which privacy was only created with a curtain. Radiators clunking all night long.

Liked: Friendly and welcoming, the room had everything you might need such as tea and coffee facilities. The shower temperature and pressure were amazing and the bathroom was spacious. Room was immaculately clean. Location was great, right near the pier/seafront and many shops and restaurants
