It was a clean hotel...

Liked: The location was great in relation to Liberty University. The staff was very nice. For the most part, it was clean.
Disliked: Our door did not lock. We addressed it with the front desk staff and they offered to move us but we got in so late, it wasn’t feasible. The beds were as hard as a rock and the decor in the room was terrible.

Liked: I had a very pleasant experience starting with the front desk staff. The young lady was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was very compfortable. The free breakfast was wonderful with a large variety of options.
Disliked: I don't have any dislikes to report.

Nice but needs to work...

Liked: The probably is beautiful. Its a very well decorated hotel and over all it’s almost perfect.
Disliked: The only reason this hotel dose not get a better rating is they just need more attention to detail. We had no shampoo or body wash in our room. No paper towels in the kitchen. At breakfast they had no bowls for the cereal and no attendant to help. We had to stop the front desk girl on her coffee break to even ask. They just need a little extra help seemed understaffed.

The Bella Vista exceeded my...

Liked: I really like the fact that the rooms were not carpeted. The breakfast was good and I loved the pancake maker. The bed was comfortable as well. I was in town for a wedding, and all of my family who stayed at the Lynchburg Grand Hotel said it was very old, had dirty carpets and broken doors, and they were all grossed out by that hotel. I was so thankful that we stayed at the Bella Vista and it I am ever in Lynchburg again, this will be my hotel of choice. I highly recommend it, and this may be a first for me as it pertains to recommending hotels because I am usually grossed out in some form or fashion. Still, I didn't experience that with the Bella Vista, and our price was so reasonable.
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was there was a dirty wash cloth hanging inside the shower behind the curtain, but the front desk Manager, Linda, took care of that right away. The floor needs to be swept or swiffered by the wall by the nightstand that is between the two Queen beds, and where the bed meets the wall. I have extreme OCD, so I see everything, and it's hard to please me when it comes to hotels, but that didn't taint my perspective of this beautiful hotel.

Liked: This hotel is very pretty, our room was huge and really nice. Very clean! The breakfast in the mornings was great, lots of choices. Staff were professional, courteous and friendly! Plus we’ve never ridden in an elevator that goes up & down so fast lol, (our room was located on the 5th floor), but you cannot feel it! ☺️ Totally recommend staying here!
