Lovely hotel close to the...

Liked: While I have stayed in Torquay a dozen or more times, this was my first time at this hotel. A good choice, with a lovely cooked breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff exceptional. Indoor heated pool, steam, and sauna all used and good. The only slightly disappointing bit was the very small gym - one piece of gym equipment, a couple (very light) dumbbells and a piece or two of cardio. Not useful in the least for me, but there are luckily larger gyms just a few minutes walk away (which of course you will have to pay for). A minute walk to the sea front, a leisurely five minute stroll to the station, and a 10-15 minute walk to shops and restaurants in the city centre.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful...

Liked: Breakfast excellent, staff amazing and facilities were really great. It was a wonderful treat for my 80th birthday!! I highly recommend this wonderful hotel. We will definitely be going back again.
Disliked: I think dinner menu could have a bit more variety as there wasn't too much that I personally could eat. Saying that the food was excellently cooked and well presented. The only other thing was the 10.00 am check-out. I felt a little rushed especially as we like to enjoy wonderful breakfast before we left. If checkout was even half an hour later I wouldn't have felt rushed
