Lovely Weekend Getaway

Liked: Fantastic stay. The room was large and felt warm, cozy, and inviting. Beautiful stained glass windows throughout the Abbey spaces. The continental breakfast in the next building over had a good variety: fresh fruit, mini croissants, bagels, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, and coffee, tea, and juices or water. The restaurant options in the area are great. The bistro itself is fantastic and quite romantic with a fireplace. Would definitely return for another weekend getaway soon.

Liked: The room me and my wife stayed in was great! The bed was comfy, the balcony was quaint, and the shower had this aromatic set up that was amazing
Disliked: Only nit pick I can think of was maybe two cases of ants in the bathroom

Charming and clean.

Liked: Beautiful old architecture in the abbey with high ceilings. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The location is close to town and the breakfast is delicious. The jetted tub was also relaxing.
Disliked: The bed was a queen instead of a king, but I believe that was only inaccurate on the booking.com website and not the inn’s website.

Delightful! Clean, comfortable beds, quiet...

Liked: Very clean non-allergenic room, comfortable beds, and super quiet air conditioner. Excellent continental breakfast choices, including hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit cups, muffins, bagels and English muffins by the toaster, and gluten free granola. The host is most accommodating.
Disliked: Not having a coffee maker in our room, BUT our host made sure fresh hot coffee was available at 7 am. Caution: If you plan to stay on the third floor, like we did, don't bring a large suitcase; the third flight of stairs are narrow. Not impossible to get a large suitcase up, but it won't be easy. It was no trouble carrying our weekender suitcase up the stairs.

Liked: It was exceptionally clean, well taken care of and unique. Excellent location (within walking distance to stores, restaurants, the church, the sandwich boardwalk, etc), and extremely friendly staff.
