Liked: Amazing location, very close to Broadway and times square, friendly staff, good shower. Very good value for money considering location. Clean and tidy, small but functional room which was fine for the 2 nights we stayed, probably would be a struggle for any longer. Early check in was available for $25.
Disliked: No lift (however we were warned about that), room was small however we felt this provided a proper New York experience and only needed the room to sleep in. Would be beneficial to have a mirror in the bedroom to get ready. Stairwell etc could use a freshen up but rooms were fine

Liked: Lovely room, great location.
Disliked: Only thing we didn’t like was that the en-suite bathroom door wasn’t flush with the door frame and slid shut.

Holidays to remember

Liked: Room was small but comfortable and surprisingly the bathroom area bit spacious than I thought. The hotel was near to Times Square, 5 min walking distance.
Disliked: This hotel does not provide any escalators at all! Imagine I have 2 luggages and has to carry up till 4th floor!!! No kettle provided and room very small.

GREAT value for solo travelers...

Liked: Stayed for a week as a solo female traveler in a queen room. Room was clean and no bed bugs plus super close to Broadway/touristy areas and several subway stations. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely a small space but for the money it was so worth it. Also helpful note you can store your bags at the desk if you don't want to pay for early check in/out.
Disliked: No elevator. Room was small and bathroom was even smaller (shower was in the same space as the sink/toilet and sprayed water all over the floor). Didn't bother me since I sleep like a rock, but flagging there's a subway line under the hotel you can hear so beware if you're a light sleeper (not sure if the city that never sleeps is a great place to travel though if you are haha).
