Beautiful property with potential but...

Liked: Beautiful place and location with potential. We did not in the end stay the night. Dinner only served between 5:30 - 7:30pm and bar closed at 9. No atmosphere at all. Reception was empty and after ringing a bell, a young lady appeared constantly sniffing and blowing her nose. It was not the most edifying of beginning. We went for a drive, came back and decided on balance, it was better to drive 6 hours home. No refund offered.

Liked: We had a huge room for the three of us. Breakfast is good as well. Staff are kind and helpful.

it was nice but unfortunately...

Liked: the grounds were beautiful the rooms were nice but they don’t cater for people with mobility issues like me I couldn’t grip the shower on/off and the stairs were difficult for me I sent a message before arriving then when I got there and I asked I was told they didn’t have any lower ground rooms.the breakfast was lovely great chef
Disliked: didn’t allow for people with disabilities
