Good location and good value...

Liked: Have stayed before and will stay again….always the best recommendation. Bus stop very close by for short ride into the town centre.
Disliked: No complaints.

Friendly and helpful, we would...

Liked: Lovely characterful building, beautifully kept. Warm spacious bedroom. Friendly staff, flexible and accommodating. Pretty garden. Walkable in to Reading & frequent buses. Safe parking. Breakfast was plentiful, good range of continental items.
Disliked: Very busy road. Cooked part of breakfast lacked choice and could have been hotter perhaps with hotter plates.

We had a comfortable visit,...

Liked: The owners were very friendly and helpful, and our twin room large, warm and very clean. An excellent full English breakfast was provided each morning, freshly cooked and according to taste. All in all this small hotel was a perfect base for our short stay in Reading and we would stay there again in the future.
