Phenomenal place
Liked: The location was so peaceful and off the beaten track, the horses were an added bonus and the accommodation was exceptional. We're used as a base to see the area and we visited St Abbs, Eyemouth and Melrose abbey to see Robert the Bruce's heart so it was ideal. The basket full of goodies and the eggs and milk was a lovely touch too, we never used the fire pit as it was too windy but hopefully next time we will make use. We will definitely use again . 👌
Disliked: Nothing

Weekend in the Borders
Liked: Fluffy towels, home baking, fresh eggs, comfy bed and the fire pit. The setting was idyllic and very peaceful. We enjoyed "meeting" the horses and dogs despite our anti-social wee mutt.
Disliked: Nothing to be fair. We failed to connect to the wi-fi but we were there to enjoy getting away from it all and for the peace and quiet.

A great stay, friendly hosts,...
Liked: The property is a purpose built pod, but far from being a generic, soulless experience, this pod was filled with special touches. Lovely walk in shower and quality bed linens. Plentiful towels, hanging for clothes and spotlessly clean. We took our dog and it was really helpful to have a basket of dog towels at the door and a cute little jar of dog treats. Everywhere you look there are thoughtful touches, the half covered deck so you can sit out and enjoy the views in any weather, the home made biscuits and freshly laid eggs provided on arrival, the fire pit and wood, soft blankets and spotless chair cushions. The care extends beyond the pod, a newly laid hedge separates the two pods and this is planted with native trees and roses which will provide cover and food for insects and birds. There are lovely walks detailed in the information pack and sitting outside on the deck it was lovely to listen to owls hooting and the sound of the river running past. We asked to have breakfast in the house and our friendly, knowledgeable hosts provided us with a feast which set us up for the day. This really is glamping in style, and miles away from shivering in a wet tent, thoroughly recommended
Disliked: All good.
