Passable

Liked: Location was perfect
Disliked: Room was rundown, had a fusty smell. Cobwebs, someone's makeup brush on the dresser chair.

Would stay again

Liked: Staff are very friendly and a good choice of options for dinner in the bar/restaurant
Disliked: Most rooms I have stayed in have no plug by the bed for charging phone. The rooms I have stayed in all have showers over the bath. It would be useful to have the option to choose a room with just a shower

Had a lovely few days...

Liked: We have stayed here before and we weren’t disappointed this time. The rooms are tired but clean and have everything you need.It is very dog friendly and the breakfast is excellent.The staff are lovely and friendly.

Untidy, dated and in poor...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, and the catering staff were excellent too.Parking was good
Disliked: The room was in a poor decorative state, and needs urgently updating, it is tired and whilst having 2 windows the room is behind an enclosed dark wall, so has no natural daylight.The bathroom was very poor with mastic peeling off, and very dated 1970s shower, and cheap lightweight lavatory seat. Tiles missing from around the bathtub. The bathroom was not particularly clean either, and there was an overpowering smell of bleach. Along with the bedroom, it urgently needs bringing into the 1990s at least!Very unsatisfactory for the room rate charged, and I would not recommend. (The previous night we stayed in a city centre Hilton hotel in Liverpool for almost £25 less than this room)
