Disliked: We found some of the public areas a little bit on the cold side. In particular the restaurant especially when seated close to the conservatory

Disliked: Breakfast was a little disappointing with staff not even asking what how I wanted my full English.The executive rooms were similar to a Premier Inn but a lot more expensive.

What a gem.

Liked: What a suprise! Warmly greeted on arrival, our room was huge with a large ensuite and patio doors leading to the carpark at the rear. The food in the in house restaurant was amazing, i had the suet crust game pie, my wife had the 24 hour slow cooked braised brisket, it was so good and the portions were not small!!I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Beamish area
