I travel to Victoria twice...

Liked: The heritage and history of the property are amazing. The staff are courteous , helpful and make you feel at home.
Disliked: There isn’t anything I don’t like about this property. I have stayed here many times and always feel welcome and at home .

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Staff was excellent. Location was excellent.
Disliked: Propane fireplace worked a little but then stopped working.

Looking forward to a return...

Disliked: Breakfast was a fixed menu and became a little repetition by the third day.

Liked: We had a very nice suite, plenty of room with a jacuzzi bath. Comfortable bed. Complimentary wine and cookies.
Disliked: Had to place the kettle on the floor to plug it in. The hotel is old but shouldn’t really have had a musty smell. We had to skip most of breakfast as service was slow and despite being the second table down for breakfast we were served after 3 other couples. No option for breakfast before 8.30am. (We had a ferry to catch…)

Totally adequate

Liked: Good location for walking into Victoria Free onsite parking (though not very secure)
Disliked: Having to order breakfast the day before

The staff was very accommodating...

Liked: The size of the room, the grounds, the breakfast, and the home are top notch.
Disliked: Loved it all.
