Featuring direct beach access this resort has a barbecue area overlooking the ocean. Each self-contained apartment includes a private balcony or patio. Many apartments also have stunning ocean views and outdoor furniture. Beachfront Resort is located in Whitianga overlooking Mercury Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is only 5 minutes' drive from Whitianga Airport and the restaurants of Whitianga town center. All apartments have a kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Each has a spacious seating area with flat-screen satellite TV. Free bodyboarding kayaking and pétanque game equipment is included. Guests can relax in the hot tub or enjoy the sun in the beach-facing gardens which feature outdoor seating. The tour desk can book scenic boat tours as well as diving snorkeling and fishing trips. The main attractions of the Coromandel Peninsula Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach are a 30-minute drive away. The Lost Spring is only 0.9 mi away.

Perfect stay along a beautiful...

Liked: Unbelievably clean and well looked after. Even the smallest things were in place. What a lovely place.
Disliked: I cant think of anything to improve - they had it all

Would go back

Liked: Location was very good. Staff friendly. Room clean and spacious.
Disliked: The noise all night from pressure tanks outside room 7 kept us awake.

You would not want to...

Liked: Amazing view, clean apartment...spa pool was an absolute delight.
Disliked: The people in the top apartment were inconsiderate in what sounded like moving furniture around. Absolutely terrible guests and completely outside of the control of the property owners.

Fabulous!

Liked: The cleanliness here is the highest among all the hotels I’ve stayed at—note: the very best, without exception. Every detail, from the nooks and crannies to each piece of cutlery, plate, and even glassware, is spotless, without a single fingerprint. The hotel’s front may be unremarkable, but the back garden opens up to a stunning beach with a breathtaking ocean view. They offer single kayaks and life vests. We love it here and highly recommend it!
