Disappointing

Ok for the night

Liked: The location was great and within walking distance to a nice mexican restaurant.
Disliked: I initially booked a room online thinking I got a great deal however when checked in, realized we were in a room near the back of the property with a view of a hill. Quite disappointing when booking an ocean side inn. I asked if there were any ocean view rooms which there were but was an upcharge, no surprise. For the complimentary breakfast, I expected at minimum, good coffee and hot oatmeal. There was no hot water for the instant oatmeal and the coffee was more water than coffee. Also, there weren't any lactose free options and alternative milk/creamer for coffee or oatmeal. So I opted to brew the in-room coffee and took the oatmeal back to the room to at least heat water in the microwave. One of the tvs was not working which wasn't a big deal.Overall, it was a decent stay but would seek other options if staying in the area again.

Liked: This hotel was great. The staff were super friendly. Location was nice and close to the overpass of the highway and coastliner tracks to the beach. Breakfast was enough.with waffles, cereal and fruit, coffee, juice. Hot tub looking out to the beach Chill session. short mile to shopping and Costco
