Extremely overprice for what is...

Liked: So I am paying 50 dollars for a bed in a shared room and I am supposed to put the linen in the bed and also bring it back to reception when I check out?? Wouldn’t you like me to clean the bathrooms as well?
Disliked: Staff is lovely but service is below average

Liked: Exceptional customer service, well trained staff who went above and beyond. Clearly there is a great deal of pride taken by both staff and management in their sevice and the whole place. I will certainly stay here again and recommend it to others!
Disliked: I booked last minute on booking.com, and didn't have access to my emails to receive notification that reception would be closed when I arrived. This was not an issue as the staff went above and beyond when I called, and were quick and happy to come and let me in. I appreciate this as I'd just hopped off a flight and was tired. Great sevice.

Liked: This hostel is in a great location; barely a 10-15 walk from Cable Beach. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and despite it being the quiet season, and staying just before Christmas, it was still a pleasant place to stay… and even better the poolside was quiet.Rooms were modern-ish and reasonable.Bathroom facilities were also good along with the kitchen facilities.Would definitely stay again - up there with one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Worth paying the extra money.
Disliked: 1 - Having to bring your bedding down on check out2 - Hiring cutlery I do understand why Australian hostels make you do these things…
