Liked: Room was clean when we got to hotel and A/C had been turned on to cool the room.
Disliked: The sink was stopped up and had to be plunged which left stuff on the things around the sink. The shower had no pressure and we thought it was because of the time of day. However, if you flushed the toilet or turned on the sink you got better presure. No access for free wifi which is a standard item in most places we stay. The printer had no ink so we could not print boarding pass and had to do so at the airport, taking more of our time. The desk said they were waiting on corporate to get ink to them. I would think ink would be on hand at all times.

Liked: Staff was exceptionally friendly and we loved the pool and location! It was close to activities but still gave us privacy.
Disliked: It smelled musty and the carpet was dirty but it was still a really nice room. I’m sure the mustiness was from the hurricane not to long ago so other than that it was a good place to stay.

We had a fabulous time...

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and a great price. We loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins and the sunsets and sunrises.
Disliked: They are working on the road and the entrance and exit are hard to maneuver because you can get stuck in the sand very easy.

The room was disappointing but...

Liked: Great location and staff was wonderful.
Disliked: Room wasn't very clean and visible rust everywhere...a little paint in the rooms would go a long way. Also, there was no parking due to the road widening project underway. Guests had to drive thru sand to get into the hotel, or park very inconveniently across the street. This was also dangerous because the city hadn't set up any type of temporary crosswalk. This road project/inconvenience should be divulged on the hotel's website until the job is completed. All that said, I'd still consider Beachcomber a great November value...in fact, it was downright cheap.

Liked: Staff was very courteous and helpful. Room size was very good. Room was clean.
Disliked: Bath sink had no water pressure. Obvious damage from previous occupancy was not repaired. Staff indicated that a major restoration was to start in near future. Its the first motel/hotel we have stayed at that did not provide free ice. The pool was not vacuumed.

Exceptional

Liked: The location was nice, staff was helpful, they say they don't serve breakfast but had muffins and coffee available. Great location, and great price for the room.
