Liked: The breakfast was really good! My wife rarely drinks. The bartender that night, Doug made great recommendations to us to make sure she could enjoy herself without getting too intoxicated. After having a few drinks and enjoy the pool, he made some awesome recommendations on the dinner menu. The experience we had with him definitely makes this a place we will return! Thank you Doug! Also, worth mentioning my wife and Doug were both surprised I'd never had fried green tomatoes. They were phenomenal as well.

Loved the public areas but...

Liked: Nice big room! Towels and linens were wonderful--pillows too. Great value at $154.08 for a night!! LOVED the Tiki Bar and the pool and The Porch. The live music with three different bands DAILY is something else, as are those big beautiful propane fire tables you can sit around when it's chilly! Elevator worked great--but no valet service for cars or luggage. Staff was VERY good--friendly, welcoming and responsive. They were wonderful about storing my luggage at no charge.
Disliked: Amazing facilities, but gosh, do SOMETHING more to freshen up the rooms and hallways. The room was more than a little dated--the hallway (without carpet and with low ceilings and very dark) felt like walking into an old college dorm. Loved the renovated shower but there was hair on the shower wall and cracked tile at the bottom of the sink area. Shower head was VERY high--my sister had to use a backscratcher to move it into the correct position so it wasn't pointing at the wall. Our Keurig had flakes of black in the coffee cup when we ran water through it, but we could not get the staff to understand that it needed de-scaling/inside cleaning. Asked for a new one but never knew if it was replaced despite texting with the staff about it. Need to add a microwave to each room too!

I would not go back...

Disliked: The partial view that wasn’t nothing to see from your room nor a balcony to look over the tiki bar. Over priced for the partial view, which was iron pipes when you look out your window.
