Disliked: Every morning the hotel shuts down the elevator to reboot it; however, they don’t tell you they’re going to do that and you have to use the stairs. This doesn’t work for a handicapped person.

Great hotel in a fantasic...

Liked: The hotel was in a fantastic location, right in Lisbon centre. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nice little touch with the port and pastéis de nata on arrival (very dangerous letting us help ourselves during our stay)! Breakfast was good with a lot of variety to choose from. Thank you to the staff and Be Poet Baixa we had a great stay and will be back!

Liked: The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I was disappointed with the room and corridors, as they were very narrow and cramped, making it difficult to maneuver with larger luggage. The room itself was dark, with a small window offering little natural light, so I had to keep the lights on all the time. The view was directly into a nearby building, which wasn’t pleasant. I paid extra for a ‘standard double room,’ but later found out that this category doesn’t actually exist—all rooms are ‘standard,’ and if you want a city view, you have to specifically request a front-facing room. This should be made clearer at booking.

Liked: excellent central location right on the main pedestrianshopping/dining area of Lisbon, friendly staff with multiple languages, lovely rooms - clean, contemporary, quiet despite location. Breakfast very good.

Outstanding boutique hotel right in...

Liked: Very courteous and professional staff, always happy to see guests. Anything we needed was there in a heartbeat. Room was very clean, soundproof windows (noisy street below). Great location, restaurants galore.
Disliked: Room lighting very minimal.

Liked: Loved the location, the terrific, smiling staff that did their utmost to satisfy our requests and the well appointed room. Very clean and quiet although on a busy street.

Liked: Location was perfect, walkable to many of the best Lisbon locations and neighborhoods. The room was spacious and completely renovated. The included breakfast was phenomenal and the overall experience with staff was wonderful.
