Lovely stay, perfect location.

Liked: The location was awesome, just near Roma Termini. It was super easy to get to from Fiumicino airport on the train. We also loved the landlady, she was awesome to deal with, and the place was very typical Rome
Disliked: The bathroom door didn’t completely shut, but everything was lovely

Moldy

Liked: Location
Disliked: The room and hallway had a strong smell of dampness and mold. The sides of the bed were moldy, and on the bedside tables, there were two dirty lamps that I don’t understand why they haven’t removed. The bathroom didn’t have a toilet brush. On the bed, there was a blanket over the sheets with someone else’s hair on it. In the hallway, there was a plant covered in mold and dust, giving off a terrible smell. In the room, only one out of three lights worked, and we were told it would be fixed, but it wasn’t. However, the lighting was the least of the issues with this room. Overall, this property has serious problems with dampness.

7/10

Liked: The way the owners explained everything and the fast way they attend to help us and respond to our texts..
Disliked: In a helpful way and non degenerating way, if they clean and renovate small things in the hotel, due to the place the hotel is, they could charge easily more money by night. The hotel room had a broken shower, a broken and paint spilled curtain, moldy walls with holes in the toilet and room. Behind the bed was a lot of food leftovers it was really dirty. As soon someone goes into the reception door its easy to notice a moldy and dusty smell, there’s a plant full of it just in the entrance. The breakfast is too simple, all the same everyday, they only change boiled eggs for yogurt or for salami. TV not working, no signal aswell. As we said and think, if they change this two things they,ll be able to charge more for it, in a more comfortable way for the customers, and in a more profitable way for them. Thank you for the honesty, Paulo and Viviane. PS: there’s a dead bug in the wall next to the bench near the bed, dead, since we got into the room, 5 days ago.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Rome was fantastic, accommodation was...

Liked: It was OK for a continental breakfast, & the location was perfect (that's why we chose it) There was a great restaurant just next door
Disliked: We were very annoyed because it was advertised as having a flat screen TV which didn't work from day and staff told us that none of the TV's in the rooms work. Although the bed was OK it had been broken previously. Instead of replacing it the owner did a bad repair on it. The shower facet leaked at the connection that comes out of the wall thus reducing the pressure. The toilet seat was OK if you wanted to go for a slide because it was really loose. It seems to us that they do not check anything before they rent the room out again. We also lost internet for 24 hours. We dealt with the owner who was very pleasant at check-in, but when we raised these issues he became very difficult and didn't think they were a big issue, telling us that he won't have a problem renting the room again as is, which was very disappointing after paying all that money, we do realise it wasn't ever going to be the Hilton Hotel

Bad

Disliked: In the first night there was only a very thin pillow in the bedroom. A lamp blinked all night, moldy wall , Toilet lid was loose, bathroom door was horrible, shower was broken where water falls like from a pipe and drain was clogged. Breakfast was mediocre. The lady in charge was nice but the guy (owner?) was ridiculous. Zero ability to solve problems and deal with customer. Terrible place overall

Solid 7.5/ 10.

Liked: It’s 3 rooms along a long hallway with a kitchenette at the end. The rooms are good, restrooms are okay, AC, large and spacious all around. Overall good location for walking or scooters and accommodations for the price. Nothing spectacular but I would stay again.
Disliked: It could have been painted in some areas and the window blinds needed to be cleaned.
