Disliked: The owner is unfriendly and quite arrogant. He smiles and is polite, but this is a purely commercial attitude. His essence is visible from everywhere.. Parts of the suspended ceiling hang from the ceiling in the bathroom. The door will not close if it is not locked. The night lamp is unglued and crushed. There are very steep stairs to the room. The first night there was low heating from the heater, ( out side was 8°) but on our second night it was completely turned off. The breakfast; you are entitled to 1 egg, one croissant and everything else. If you ask for anything else you will have problems with the staff. If you get up by yourself to get small things from the small table in the restaurant that is for customers, like there are some dried fruits and other small things, everyone looks at you like a criminal and stalks you, what are you going to get. The owner is hardworking and only cleans his own rooms to save money on staff. The problem is that he saves on everything he can. From heating, from breakfast, and TNT. I will never go to this hotel again!!!

A fantastic weekend in one...

Liked: A very well appointed room in a beautiful old property, right in the heart of Bruges. You couldn’t be more central! Staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. The valet parking is a good touch too.
Disliked: There was a foul drain smell in the property landing at times…
