Nice but would expect better...

Liked: Very nice B&B with lovely room and building. and very nice and available staff.
Disliked: Only tea available in the room and a coffee will have been appreciated especially for the price. Two cons in addition, there is a very loud IC system connected to the hotel next door and even with all doors and windows closed it's still annoying especially at night; plus, very challenging to park on the street in front of the building even to drop the bags as the city police is patrolling and there are definitely no nice even with the absence of traffic in the street and a possibility to park on the side as indicated by the B&B.

Susanna was the best host!

Liked: Susanna was our incredible host. She was so accommodating with our fabulous breakfast the morning of our half marathon. She had the beautiful historic home spotless. Fantastic location too!

Liked: The location is great and the only employee named Susanna is very welcoming.
Disliked: The facilities are as old as the hotel building, and there is only one employee in charge of everything, so don't expect too much.

Liked: So much to like about this property.! The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. Accommodations were comfortable and Wi-Fi was very good.Location was excellent! Just a short walk to Frontenac area of old Quebec. Parking was nearby and easy to access.

The only place I will...

Liked: We loved the family-run home with beautiful details and history. Our room had a beautiful typewriter, clawfoot tub, and library. The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was hearty and delicious. But our overall highlight was Veronyc and Suzanna! They were personable, informative, and made our entire stay cozy and comfortable. They even added genuinely nice touches for my birthday. We will absolutely be back and we will tell all of our friends and family to visit!

Disliked: The lights on the hotel opposite shining into our room all night, with a lack of curtaining to counter that.

Liked: It was built around history and kept authentic, comfortable, and beautiful. Sometimes at night there were some noise, but that’s expected with city living….the only thing I would recommend are blackout curtains; other than that, I cannot imagine myself anywhere but here when I come back to visit
