Sleepless in Udine.

Liked: Breakfast had a good choice and we were able to sit in a quiet area with our dog.
Disliked: Hotel has poor sound insulation which meant that we felt as though we were in same room as people next door and double glazing did not block out noise from street outside. Our main problem was that the room was too hot and we could not open the window because of the noise outside. The air conditioning was not working which was reported to Reception and they said an engineer would come to sort it. Second night, Reception said the engineer has been and please go and give it some time as you have not been in the room - the air conditioning did not come on. The third night, the Receptionist said that there is a policy in hotel of not turning air conditioning on after a certain date. So three days of completely different answers and poor sleep.

Liked: The view, the size of the room, furniture is quite new and stylish room, breakfast, tasty coffee, people at the reception were very nice
Disliked: Little space for toiletries in the bathroom, very warm in the room, the noise from smashing bottles at 6 am in the morning on saturday (used bottles were taken by the trash car) ruined the good morning

Liked: Friendly staff, good location, good breakfast. We did not hear anything from other rooms.
Disliked: There is noise coming from the street outside. Bring earplugs if you sleep with open windows.
