My stay started and ended on an unhappy note.
Liked: Did not have breakfast so not applicable.
Disliked: The owner messaged me late in the evening before we left for the airport that they preferred payment in cash. This late request cost me more because I could only get the cash by using the exchange at the airport which is a much poorer rate. I think we should be compensated for this extra cost in view of this, plus our experiences shown below. The shower doors were loose. They keep opening so we had to hold the shower rail to face the wall to prevent water from wetting the bathroom floor. There were no shower gel or shampoo gel from day one of our stay. The containers were empty. Fortunately, I brought a small bar of soap. My request for shower and shampoo gel was acknowledged and the gels will be provided the next morning, but this was not done. I had to call the owner at night on our return to replenish the gels on the last night of our stay. Whilst on the phone call, we were wrongly accused of washing our clothes in the room. Despite repeatedly telling them we have not been doing our laundry as accused they kept telling us off. The owner's husband did eventually apologise when he came to replenish our shower gels. It was another room's guests who have washed their clothes. I was upset and angry at being told off for something we had not done. I hate being accused of something I have not done. They should be sure of their facts. What other guests do has nothing to do with us.

Would never recommend it unless they improve service and facility.
Liked: There was to be an optional breakfast but there wasn't. No one ever at reception. It' s cell phone only to check in. Had to ask a stranger to phone for us. We were told by Booking.com.com what our total charge would be including taxes but the hotel required E25 more than the set price before we could even get in the room. Maitenance is terrible...baseboard fell off, knob to hold towels in bathroom missing , bedside light was useless. Will never recomend this place.
Disliked: Everything above. Didn't like anything except it was a room with a bed and bathroom.

Enjoyed my stay
Liked: 10 minutes flat walk from train station. Large big room. Nice interior design. Well maintained.
Disliked: Problem getting in because the card entry failed. Had to call the owner. He open door remotely but I was not aware and thought he was coming personally and waited for 15 minutes. No elevator but staff help carry our luggage up. Friendly staff. Had to ask for kettle and extra soap.
