Liked: It was easily accessible. Not a lot of traffic. Close to eating places and unexpectedly close to the location of The Promise play.
Disliked: During down time only one “moveable” chair in the room to watch TV.

Disliked: The room was ok other than the whole floor was covered with dog hair. We found out after walking in our socks. YUCK!! We also heard a dog barking on our floor one of the evenings we were there.My husband went to telll the cleaning lady to vacuum our floor after we left for the day. She did, just not completely. I did not sleep under the covers, I used my own blanket. The water also had a very bad smell. We bathed in it, just used our bottled water to brush our teeth. Breakfast was OK. We'll look for other accommodations next time.

Liked: The property was fairly clean.
Disliked: We stayed at the property from Thursday till Sunday. Every single day we were there there was a group of bikers hanging out in the lobby every night drinking. As a mother and grandmother with two young kids traveling alone and also being people of color. It was very unsettling and intimidating and we didn’t really feel safe, but as it was a busy weekend for the area, we didn’t have any choices to relocate. Being that there were a few businesses in town with the name ”sundown” it was actually quite scary. It was just kind of weird that all 50 of them were just hanging out drinking in the lobby of a Baymont Inn instead of maybe visiting one of the many bars in the area. It was also on the outskirts of town so that made it a little more unnerving. Nothing happened that was outwardly racist or rude. It was just unsettling walking past 50+ bikers staring us down every night. After the first night we did a little research and saw that others felt the same about being poc in glen rose. Also water pressure in the shower was so low and it never got hot and you had to hold the toilet flusher down for the entirety of the flush water pressure was so low.

Liked: Rooms clean and spacious. Our family were also given adjacent rooms with doors that could be opened

Liked: Michelle, who greeted me at the desk, informed me of the room she had me in, which was really what I wanted or expected. She was wonderful in getting us an upgrade. She was pleasant in her personality and professional at her job. I would love to go back and see her again for our needs.
Disliked: There was nothing about our stay that I didn't like. It was clean, peaceful, and just terrific.
