1st stay was great; second...

Liked: was nice stay; staff very friendly
Disliked: hard to find. it is off the main street and navagation provided names of churches, not businesses as being close by.Biggest complaint was the attempt to stay on our return trip. We came in by train which was late and after 1:00am so decided to stay the night in Whitefish instead of driving home so late. Phone contact was a corporate reservation desk who wanted to charge us for two days.....a/ the previous day when we were still on the train and b/ the current day, since we were actually arriving on a day when check in wasn't until the afternoon. Not going to happen. We would have been out of the room in accordance with the previous day check-in i.e. before 10:00am on the second day they wanted to charge us. Not going to happen. There were plenty of rooms available in the community.We chose another motel.

Disliked: The use of plastic and paper for eating/drinking in US hotels lowers the tone of these places, and creates so much waste.
