Not a happy camper.

Liked: They really need to work on renovating this hotel, I had to switch rooms because there were bugs everywhere inside my room, the telephone didn't work and the curtain had tears in it, the hangers couldn't hold clothes very well, after I switched my room across the hall, the new room was just as bad and we lukewarm water, damn near cold, and the rooms could definitely use more lights, it's in a good location as far as Mystic lake and Canterbury Downs and Valley Fair but they need to work on fixing up the rooms and plumbing.
Disliked: The rooms need renovating and keeping the lady bugs and boxelder bugs out, have working phones, and have hot water so we can take a hot shower instead of a cold to lukewarm shower, more lights in the rooms, better hangers to hang your clothes, I had better lighting in the bathroom then in my room, my stay was not good.

Liked: Next to a great bar.
Disliked: Our room dead bolt did not work at all. I was so grateful my boyfriend was with or I would have been so scared all night. We checked in about 11pm and when I asked if I could have late check out as my perk for being rewards member . I was made to feel they were doing me a inconvenient favor. Though the other Wyndhams I stayed at throughout week was more than happy to let me use my membership perk.

Decent value if you’re not...

Liked: The fitness facility had a full cable machine system. Hot tub was warm and not super chlorinated.
Disliked: The interior maintenance and appearance is definitely an afterthought. There were no rowdy guests, but wall and ceiling paint was chipped and scraped. In the room, paint was flaking off or missing. Shower head hasn’t been soaked in vinegar for many years.

Liked: Bed was comfortable
Disliked: 1 Room air conditioner didn’t work. I got them to change rooms for me and they did. 2 There were kids everywhere, unattended kids running up and down hallways, on elevators. No parents to be seen. 3 there is an overwhelming smell of chlorine on the whole property.

Liked: The staff that checked us in was super nice
Disliked: The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the breakfast buffet took place in the pool area and personally the strong scent of chlorine and food don’t mix. Whole reason we booked here instead of MyPlace next door like we did the year before was for the hot tub. It appeared one hot tub was shut down and there was a party going on so pool and other hot tub were completely unavailable.
