Disappointing

Disliked: Someone tried to get in my room at 10 pm, using a keycard that had been given to him by the front desk. I informed him through the door that I was already in the room. He left, but came back an hour later and tried the door again. I had double locked the door (both times), so I knew he wouldn’t be able to get in. He left again, and then at 1 am the desk clerk came to my room insisting that this man was registered for my room 216, and 301. He asked my name, I told him, and then he did not return. Very unsettling and I am trying to figure out how a hotel with a computerized system could issue 2 room keys to 2 different guests to the same room. How did this happen? NOT happy about this whole situation!

Liked: The room was spacious and clean. The shower was quite large and it was very comfortable for my dog.
Disliked: I was told after I booked that my 65lb dog would be fine to stay despite the weight limit, which wasn’t stated on the Booking.com listing. When I arrived though, it was argued to me that she wouldn’t be accepted. Thankfully with some pushback I did get her to stay, but this needs to be more clearly stated BEFORE paying through Booking.com, otherwise you are promising a service you do not offer. Also the elevator was broken and I was put with my elderly dog on the third floor with a semi-broken door handle that felt unsafe. Finally, the entire floor smelled of weed despite it being a smoke free establishment.
