Horrible place.

Disliked: This was the worst place we have ever stayed. It looked like it had been destroyed and they were in a very slow process of remodeling it.

Baymont desperately needs update

Liked: The breakfast was okay. I enjoy my waffle and eggs. The room was very clean. The wifi did not work, so there was limited watching on TV. The area for me to take Chassie Mae (my fur baby) was decent.
Disliked: The outside halls were very dirty or needed to be replaced. There were leaves all in the area that I went out to the parking lot or to take my pet out. The pet area didn't have the appropriate place to throw the dogs waste. The container was on the ground. I brought my own bags, and there was a trash can beside the door that I entered. The checkout time was 12:00pm and the maid came before 12;00pm to clean the room.

Baymont was good for what...

Liked: I just needed an inexpensive place to stay for one night. My expectations were met! It was a great location in terms of proximity to the highway. And there's a Walmart 3 minutes away. I ended up making an emergency run to the store late at night. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The shower water pressure was great!The employees were very friendly.
Disliked: This hotel is undergoing some renovations, which is a good thing. I'm happy to see that they're trying to make improvements. Our room on the first floor had a weird smell possibly from the carpet because the towels and sheets smelled fine. They have introduced some hot items to their breakfast buffet, eggs and biscuits and gravy. I can only speak about the eggs. They tasted like they were from a powder mix, which is fine, I'm not that picky. However, some shredded cheese and salsa would have been greatly appreciated to mask the flavor. The other items on the buffet were fine. My daughter enjoyed her waffle on the brand new waffle iron. There was also an employee mopping during breakfast. I appreciate that cleanliness is a priority, as it should be, just not during serving hours. That should be done before and after.
