Terrible, awful hotel

Disliked: My room that my family and I stayed in had bedbugs, and management was very rude when I tried to resolve this situation. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. Check Google reviews before booking. The photo attached is of my blanket that I had used for my trip. Due to the condition of the room (old and dirty), I didn't sleep under the blankets of the hotel bed. I felt uncomfortable. I used a blanket that I brought from home for the road trip. Well, I woke up the last day of the trip with a bed bug on my laptop bag and one my blanket. I ended up leaving the blanket and the bag and left the property at 1:00 am, 15 minutes after discovering the bedbugs to take a 17 hour road trip back home with little sleep and extreme anxiety. Not to mention, I had bedbugs bites on my face, arms, hands, and stomach. Management was not concerned about the bites or my dissatisfaction. The front desk manager treated me like he didn't have time for me or my complaint. I have reported this to my credit card company, Booking.com, and Wyndham corporate. The worst hotel stay that I have ever had!

Bugs in the room. You...

Liked: Easy to get in to, 24 hour coffee in the lobby, good breakfast, beds were soft. The lady serving breakfast was extremely attentive and friendly.
Disliked: We found silverfish in our room, the hinges on the door to the bathroom are incredibly rusted and LOUD. The bedding was clean but sheets had several worn holes in it. It looked like someone had put fresh paint over a very old and worn hotel.

Bedbugs, BEWARE!

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: My room had bedbugs, and my daughter, who happened to be up at 1 a.m., saw one on my laptop bag and alerted me. I then saw one on the blanket that I had wrapped on me and then discovered that I had bites on my face and hands. I ended up leaving the blanket, which I had brought with me and the laptop bag to prevent bringing the bugs home. My family and I gathered our things immediately and checked out of the hotel in 15 minutes at 1 a.m. to embark on a 17-hour road trip home with little sleep. Spoke with front desk person to complain as I checked out and later that morning. The person who answered the phone later that morning tried to tell me that because I had left the evening that I was to check out, I am not eligible for a refund but then later said he would talk to the manager. Still havent heard anything. I have called Wyndham corporate and am awaiting a response. I will go to the doctor for my bites and will commence legal action for what I endured if they don't make it right. Yes, I took pictures. Booking needs to remove this property from its offering list from this area if the property refuses to properly remediate the issue. Google reviews had listed several recent bedbugs reviews for this property. Sadly, I didn't see these reviews when I had booked. I stayed there because my family and I were attending my son's military basic training graduation. This was supposed to be a fully enjoyable occasion.
