Poor
Liked: Nothing but the location
Disliked: Ok to start they are renovating the hotel and there are tiles up off the floor in the halls. We had to move from 2 rooms due to no hot water. AC vents were dirty husband had to clean them plus our sheets were dirty

Perfectly fine for a stop...
Liked: The location right off the highway was fine, as expected. Beds were clean and comfortable, good for one night on the road.
Disliked: A couple of the lights in the room didn’t work. The heater had an old, musty smell to it when running but we really didn’t need it so that was fine. But overall the room was fine just to sleep for a few hours.

Just for one night stay
Liked: Overall for the price and it being a short stay it served it's purpose. My husband and I stayed at this location to attend our son's event near by so it was convenient to avoid traveling 3 hours earlier. And the breakfast was a plus for the price. The room was spacious and bathroom was clean.
Disliked: The area is not the best and when entering any nearby store and even entering the hotel, everyone seems to be a defense mode and cautious of the people entering to the location which was a big red flag for us. I can understand why yet it leaves a bad impression for those that have no other business than just stay at a hotel to relax a night or two. There are many ways to take the necessary security measures without affecting the experiences for those with good purposes. We experienced a situation while eating breakfast in the lobby, where a couple was questioned if they have a room reserved, while taking their breakfast. The staff lady may have had a valid reason or not to question, but it could have been handled in a more private manner. Before leaving she apologized to us which we appreciated it but it should have been done right after the incident and maybe by the lady that seemed to be in charge. Again I can definitely understand the precautions needed to be taken based on their experiences but these reactions will also keep people from even wanting to stay again or recommend it to others for quick business trips or event purposes. At first glance the room seems clean and there was no bad odor, however in a corner of the room there was a clipped human nail and a small roach.
