Didn’t stay because it was...

Liked: A Cracker Barrel and a lions den in front of the hotel seemed pretty awesome but the hotel was not.
Disliked: Not cleaned well. Rooms were soiled and had belongings in them from previous stayer..

AGGRESSIVE WORKER

Liked: So, it's been a few weeks or so since this happened to me but I had the worst experience ever in my life dealing with the nighttime clerk when I came to check in. Mind you, I've stayed at this hotel at least a handful of times on my travels between Ohio and Indiana. So, me and my friend were there maybe a week prior to this. I walk in and the clerk says "Oh your reservation was canceled by i think the customer Mr Kumar. He said it was a man. I'm like sir no, don't let the yt skin fool you I am a Kumar. The only one on the reservation. Got through that Then, when we go to pay, he said oh u can't use his card to pay if reservation was in your name.. I'm like, what?? That's weird because we have been here plenty. And they've always taken it with his id. He said, well they've been doing it wrong. This entire time he is just being shitty to us, talking down. THEN he said "you people need to know what room you're staying in. You ordered doorsash here the other night and didn't have the room number or right room number on it and she had to come look for you, she knocked on the wrong door and someone pulled a gun on her. I was shocked...like 1st of all I'm sorry I would never want anyone to get hurt. He said he was gonna ban me next time if something happened like this again. I didn't realize that happened. So after this I had to go to my car for something when I came back to complete check in. When I came back in he handed me a receipt to sign and there was a little key envelope stapled to the paper I thought they were the keys so I ripped it off. He basically yelled at me for it as if im to know that he put the deposits in those envelopes. He got so rude i finally said look buddy you've already disrespected me once you're not gonna do it again im being patient and you're being a dxck for no reason!! I asked if the guy got banned who had a gun. So he told us to go.

It's just ok, I wouldn't...

Liked: I booked this hotel for a 3 night stay while in town seeing family. The first room they assigned me still had trash in the floor so I went back down for a new room. The second room was better and seemed like it was a bit more updated. There was a dog roaming around, I don't think the owner knew it was loose, but it was friendly and I'm not afraid of dogs. I had to go down each day to get my key card reprogrammed because it seems they charge everything at 11am, the checkout time. The hotel seems to be ran by a younger generation of most likely a family business as a few on them would run down the hall like children, I'd say they were at least in their 20's. I wouldn't stay here again as the hotel was not worth the money.
Disliked: It seems it's ran by a younger generation of a family business that isn't mature enough to have suck a responsibility. The first room was still dirty with trash. I was locked out daily at 11am on a 3 night stay.

This is a home away...

Liked: When I go to the Baymont the staff remembers me and I’m greeted by name, “is it good to be back” or “ I remember you from summer!” The entire staff is accommodating and just genuinely nice human beings!
Disliked: I never have any complaints and I’m sure never will.
