Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North, Des Moines

Not a bad experience. I would stay there again for that price. Did not feel uncomfortable. Shuttle service would have been nice.

Liked: Beds were so comfortable.
Disliked: Needs updated; not in a great part of town.

I would never recommend this hotel too anybody!! We booked the Baymont on NE 14th St. When we walked in it smelled like a nursing home it was soo small and nothing like the pictues. There were linens laying around. To get to our room we had to drive around back to another building our room looked like it was from the 70s or something and was soo small the ceiling was only a cpl inches from our head there was barely any lighting at all. I didn't even feel safe to set down it was such a gross place for safe for my well being at that. I would never recommend this place to anybody at all!!

Liked: The price. That's it nothing else is good about this place.
Disliked: After the first day a worker came to my room demanding I come outside accusing me of stealing someone else's room or something I'm not quite sure. She took my id and I was afraid she wouldn't give it back so I had to go with her to the front desk. I was not ready at all I had to get dressed quickly and told my partner what was going on completely ruining our night. At the end they said it was the mistake of the employee who signed me in but why did they have to be so hostile to ME for a mistake THEY made. Our sheets had stains all over them even the mattress had stains i took pictures to put here below. I had even gone down to the front counter to ask for fresh sheets AND they also forgot to stock our room with towels for our 3 day stay so I went to the front desk to ask for fresh sheets and to actually get some towels. The employee said they would send someone and we spent the whole day waiting for someone to help us out but no one ever came. We also had to go to the front desk every time we left our room because our key cards would stop working and we had to get them re programmed every day. That was horrible also. There was also a strong smell of smoke in our non- smoking room I wasn't thrilled about that either and it smelled like someone was smoking weed in one of the rooms near the front desk. Overall very disappointed with my say I will never come back.

Quality in is a bunch...

Liked: Nothing at all.They double charged me.Gave me a deposit took my deposit and then took my double charge for you to so altogether.I paid two hundred and sixty somewhat dollars to stay there for 1 night
Disliked: The staff Very disrespectful talk down to me, just wasn't professional at all denied that he even took my money. So since he decided to say that I was smoking in the room. And the fire alarm didn't go off. I did contact the fire Marshal because that neither means you're supposed to textures are faulty or he's lying, so we'll figure that out.
