Liked: Great location and the room for the most part was clean. We asked for a room with a spa bath and it seemed to be a bit dirty. I ended up cleaning it myself before using it.
Disliked: The hot breakfast was often cold and we always needed to reheat the food. Also, we used the hotel shuttle to take us to dinner - the driver and two of the hotel employees were extremely unprofessional!

Does the trick but a...
Liked: Room was spacious. Hot water great. Staff very helpful. Decent breakfast.
Disliked: Toilet stopped working, had to request towels (none were in the room), key access to side door to outside didn't work, hot tub was closed

Unpleasant stay
Liked: Not much about it other then the evening/ night staff
Disliked: Everything!! The management were not nice people, they charged us a $100. Deposit every day when we extended the room, the place had no towels for 3 of the 6 days we were here. There was black mold in the tub really bad n the last night we were here The room had a power surge n there was a black out.

Cheap Rate ... Until You're...
Liked: Stay away. They have a racket they run where they double charge customers who have already prepaid them Booking.com. You'll see in several reviews where they have done this - also if you check the Better Business Bureau of Golden, Co.Owners/Managers do not respond to phone calls, or emails.
