The bed was the star...

Liked: The king bed was wonderful! Nice and roomy, firm, and just soft enough to sink into but not wallowed out. The pillows were oh so soft and comfortable to sleep on. The covers were the perfect weight and thickness, and we really liked the throw at the bottom of the bed.
Disliked: We traveled for almost four hours to get there, so we were ready for a rest. Not long after our check-in, a few youths came to a basketball goal set up within feet of our parking place in front of our room. I was concerned about the ball hitting the car or breaking a window, or one of the kids losing his balance and falling into the side of our car while playing. We left to meet a friend for a couple of hours. When we came back around 7pm, we were ready to settle in for the night. But, the same youths came back and played again very noisily until after 9pm. To me, this is not a professional way to run a motel, especially when guests are paying for a good night's sleep. Also, after the youths finally left, a couple a few doors down got into an argument and the woman brought it outside, talking very loudly and calling the other person names and using foul/vulgar language. Thankfully, it lasted only for a few minutes.
