Liked: Room was not as advertised. Reaked like marijuana. Lights did not work.
Disliked: Was surrounded by drug use, room smelled heavily of marijuana, was not as advertised. On the flip side, the clerk staff was extremely understanding and polite.

Liked: Absolutely nothing
Disliked: Safety latch on door missing. Bathroom was filthy. Sheets on bed had stains. Mini fridge was so congested with ice buildup, that door would not close.

Disliked: My room was dirty, the toilet ran all night the tv didn't work

Disliked: No running water in the shower, took and hour to get hot water from.the sink.

Other than the Coke Head...

Liked: The staff is helpful. My first room sucked. My second room was way better, but they did accommodate me and fix it.
Disliked: I went to get coffee in the lobby this morning, and he left some coke Head just geeking at the coffee bar, sniffing and tweaking and acting like a crackhead.

Liked: I had a fantastic stay at the Baymont Inn in Abilene! The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and service. The room was clean, quiet, and had a nice, modern feel to it. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the comfortable bedding and the extra pillows. The staff were welcoming and helpful, always available to assist with any questions I had. The breakfast offerings were tasty, with a good variety to choose from. The location was convenient and close to everything I needed. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Abilene! Highly recommend.

Liked: I recently stayed at the Baymont Inn in Abilene, and I was genuinely impressed. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and made check-in a breeze. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed and a well-stocked bathroom. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, a great way to start the day! The location is perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend the Baymont Inn to anyone visiting Abilene.

I ran out of room...

Liked: The location is great, you are close by Denny's right behind their parking lot, there is also an Allsups convenience store directly across the street open 24 hours. Right up the access road is Walmart and several restaurants, the hospital is also close by if needed - everything is good about the area itself but I can't say the same for the motel itself and do not come here if you are looking to watch TV they have satellite and none of the channels work the few that they offer so we had the TV off after trying and ended up watching our phones! Gwynn at check in was very friendly though!
Disliked: This room was disgusting! We did not realize exactly how much until we got back a couple hours later to the room, after taking pictures I went to the front desk and the guy told me to come back in the morning and speak with the manager "Vic" about getting the room as a comp and he apologized, the night audit guy was very nice I did not get his name. The next morning I did go and speak with the "manager" and he absolutely refused to comp the room because we stayed there, I assure you we did not dare sleep or get under those blankets and we slept very lightly! I have managed hotels/apartments for the last 20 plus years and so I get it sometimes you have issues and you are working on them however this was not the case and the "Mgmt" looked at a couple of my pictures I was trying to show him and then try to rush off to his office and just blow me off, which is poor management if you ask me but after he saw I was not leaving he finally tried to tell me he would give me a 25% discount, okay fine but he refused to give me any contact information since he claimed that he is just a manager and there's nothing else they can do - I reminded him that I have been in property Management many years and as a manager you have that authority to make those decisions and to provide refunds, etc... anyway I'm still waiting on the so-called 25% discount to hit my card as well as my $50 deposit of that they said they already issued back upon check out which I know may take a couple of days but I will definitely keep watch for it. If I could recommend anything to any traveling guests looking for a hotel it would be definitely to not stay here especially if you have kids because there is a lot of shady stuff going around, the location itself is in a very good one however the motel is nothing close to that!
