Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach

Based on signatures that are required upon one's arrival, this hotel must have many unruly patrons and is located in a part of town where crime is a consideration. We were going to walk a quarter mile to the historic Train Depot for a concert and were told it was not wise to walk - we should drive or Uber. Our heat would not turn off and we slept in an 81 degree room. There are too many other choices to stay in MB. Will not return.

Liked: Nothing stood out.
Disliked: Heat setting was not working - thermostat set at 70, yet the heat would not cut off. It was 81 in the room as we tried to sleep.

Disliked: Rooms outdated, sounds like a jackhammer behind the wall when you shower (LOUD) fridge isn’t cold, if you get room 603b expect a BUILDING view and not a side view. Sliding door barely moves unless u got muscles. Staff did nothing about it other than say “it’s the luck of the draw” so my money will be spent somewhere else

Liked: Other than bumping in rooms around us it was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. I will say with all the remodeling and work being done, new luggage carts should be on the list.

Dissatisfied to say the least

Liked: I had to wait until the next day to get clean wash clothes. The indoor jacuzzi was light warm. It was 78 degrees outside and 75 degrees in the room. For the first time in 10 years I was very dissatisfied.
