Liked: Location great. Warm welcome on arrival. Easy parking. Fantastic room with jacuzzi bath. Food available but we ate with our family so didn't try it.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Bawtry’s is a little gem. So many little nooks and crannies telling stories about the past. Sunday Cavery was a full house with lamb on the menu. All the staff are on the ball and it was a lovely stay.

Liked: The property is central.
Disliked: We were served by a member of staff who was eating whilst serving us. I questioned him about it and he said he had a 15 hour day!Why would he feel the need to tell his customers that?The room was not to the standard we are used to. There was mould around the shower and paint chipped of the furniture (see pictures) and it was bijou. We were not at all happy so I spoke with the owner and he agreed to a refund of which they honoured.I spoke to his wife via telephone and on messages on this booking site and instead of apologising she tried to berate me?Looking at the reviews they all must have been having a bad day, we all do I guess!

Disliked: Waited at least 5 mins before being acknowledged as the bar as staff were busy serving, but ultimately that left me feeling insignificant as a guest with accommodation booked. Not a great welcome…don’t expect a red carpet but would hope for a little more
