We were pleased.

Liked: The room was good and the staff were helpful and professional.
Disliked: There was a long wait for check-in and checkout as there was only one receptionist. One of the coffee cups in the room was still dirty.

Liked: Helpful and nice staff.
Disliked: The temperature in the rooms were very cold. Not enough water in to take shower in the morning. One costumer was given a key to my elderly mothers room by accident. But that was very upsetting for her. He went in to her room and was very rude to her.

Disliked: After having adavce booking as family stay for 5night given corner room ground floor. looks it would store room earlier or dometary converted in to room .Not shown room before allocating also after request to give or change to Good room or RISE floor ...no positive response ..Secondly at night huge cigarette smoke smell coming in room it's suffocating..:(Also if its deal booking online after checkout they asked extra city tax .to pay additional ..Why it should be announced or highlighted during booking deal amount. ....Ideally amount should nt check ......My family didn't like it as also no staff available night to address basic service facity related issue ..... poor or dull response ...I would have booked different hotel instade of bastion :(I'll not recommend this hotel for family stay except center location .

Good hotel, worth a visit

Liked: The rooms are spacious and amenities are great, it is situated close to the Christmas market and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing, all was good

Not 4 star more like...

Liked: Definitely not a 4 star rating, not an appealing hotel as very basic. Great access to the centre and markets. Great local bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Staff did there best to accommodate our needs
Disliked: Reception understaffed always a queue. Had a fire alarm at 4am and no visible staff to help or give explanation. Glad it was a false alarm. Someone smoking in the room.Corridors were very unkept and needing hoovered.

Disappointing

Liked: Location is close to bus stop and city center.
Disliked: Poor cleaning, sink was clogged, kettle was leaking, towels were worn out. Not sure what is left to like.
