A good place to stay...

Liked: The room was small but fine for one night. The breakfast was good and they found some gluten free bread for me. I would have liked some more fruit.The location was perfect between Gare du Nord and Gare du Lyon.
Disliked: The room was very small and there was no bidet. But for one night it was fine.

Liked: Staff was always kind and willing to help, the bed and the pillows were SUPER comfy and smelled really good (which is rare these days), the shower was great too!
Disliked: The room and bathroom could have more hooks, which would help hanging bags, towels, clothes, hats, etc...Complementary Nescafe and Tea Bags in the room could be replenished on a daily basis, and shower box grouts could be cleaner.

Liked: Unique and interesting reception/salon area with books on a variety of subjects - art, history, Paris. Also literature. I enjoyed browsing and borrowing books on rainy afternoons. Very comfortable and welcoming. The house was well decorated with attractive striped awnings and flowers on a quiet street. My room was small and very adequate. All towels and linens were changed regularly and I appreciated having a safe and a small fridge. All as described. Good lighting too. TV etc.
Disliked: Nothing I disliked about the property. Next time I would like a bathroom equipped with a bath. After sightseeing all day a bath is more relaxing for tired muscles! I understand this would be a twin/double room and more expensive. That’s ok.
