Cool vibes and very comfy

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a problem with our initial room and they moved us straight away.Room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, good shower and plenty of storage. They also provide all toiletries and a large cool box for food as well as a kettle. Aircon worked well. The places has plenty of free parking. There's a climbing wall and table tennis, plus sauna/jacuzzi to relax in. The bar has local beers and there's nice outdoor seating with firepits. They provide a complimentary 'grab n go' breakfast with tea/coffee and muffins/fruit/yoghurt etc. The location is perfect, about a 10-15 min walk from Pearl street, and about 5 mins from the Boulder Creek path and around 5-10mins from the centre of the University campus. There is also a charging hub for the hireable city eBikes about 200 yards down the road, although we couldn't use these as you need an American mobile phone number to create an account.
Disliked: Could provide tea/coffee in the room would be nice.

Slightly above average with a...

Liked: Lobby was nice and like the community feel. The renovated motel setup is nice!
Disliked: No refrigerator in the room. no coffee in the room. cafe was only open in the lobby from 8 - 12. Noise from the rom upstairs was lound, soundproofing was not good. The wifi was terrible in the room. Couldn't even send an email, had to go to the lobby to get signal, called the emergency hotel to ask about it and was told they couldn't do anything until they opened at 8am.

It was the perfect one...

Liked: Location & outdoor seating & indoor area to lounge.
Disliked: It is a very old hotel that has been renovated, but not to a HIGH standard. You can tell it's an old motel.

Great little place to stay.

Liked: Comfortable mattress, king bed. Really nice employees, extremely helpful and relaxed. Thanks for the afternoon cookies.Impressed with how they have redesigned what is essentially a basic motel.
Disliked: Ice chest only, no mini fridge. The ice chest worked okay, but it made me nervous, as if the medication actually freezes, it destroys it. John was very agreeable in putting my freezer packs (that go into my transport cooler) into the office freezer before I departed.

Exceptional

Liked: We had some car issues that made it impossible to arrive for the day we booked, but Basecamp Boulder very kindly moved our reservation to the day after, which really saved our trip to and arrival in Boulder!

Great location in Boulder, nice...

Liked: The location was great with easy access to Pearl Street and the Flatirons. There was a coffee/tea bar in the main building and fresh chocolate cookies when we arrived.
Disliked: The room was a renovated old motel room. There wasn't an elevator to take us to the second floor so we had to carry three heavy bags up a metal staircase. The room was small and adequate for a one night stay but I would not stay in there with four people for longer than one night.

Funky motel not too far...

Liked: The motel was very clean and had a good vibe. It was within walking distance to coffee, shops (about half a mile to Pearl Street and also good places about a half mile in the other direction).
Disliked: The lobby didn't open until 8am, which was a little late for me to start my morning - so I walked for coffee. It was quite pricey for a motel style establishment, but I think the fact that were were there on a weekend contributed to that and the cost may have been in line with other facilities in the area.
