Liked: Central location to where I was, Rachel is very friendly and welcoming and the property is clean and I was like staying here.Fabulous cooked breakfast and everything you want from a bed and breakfast

My second 3 night visit...

Liked: Location on the edge of Barton on Humber ideal for visiting many places in Lincolnshire and just a few minutes from the Humber Bridge across into Yorkshire.Host attentive and helpful.Needed a room with a walk in shower. I made that request and they were able to grant it.Room clean. Bed comfortable. En-suite spacious enough to be serviceable, but no space wasted. Breakfast: A typical cereals, fruit, yogurt, type buffet selection. Host asks what cooked food you require; typically any combination that makes up a typical English Breakfast, and cooks to order. Personally happy to find someone that can cook bacon to my taste and also manage poached eggs to perfection (not everyone can).
Disliked: (This comment is not meant to be a negative, and it's certainly not a complaint as there is nothing that can be done but, I write it more as a warning to help anyone making plans). It will not be a problem for most people but anyone with a mobility issue that makes climbing stairs difficult may have a problem (myself included). It's not that there are many - rooms are on the first floor - but they are a little narrow in tread and steep. Having said that, the host kindly helped me by carrying my bags up and down the stairs for me which made it all much easier and safer for me.
