Liked: How quiet it was and comfortable. Staff were amazing

Liked: Rather than poor review, I left a detailed message for the hotel manager to come back to me. she hasn't responded, I think that speaks volumes...
Disliked: I never feel the need to leave a poor review, but I don't even know where to start.

Liked: The property is lovely and the new forest is great
Disliked: We paid for a deluxe room, stains on the carpet and bed including the mattress. The bed was so hard it was impossible to get any sleep.

Nice location, clean and tidy....

Liked: Room was nice clean and comfortable, a good size to fit in as a family.
Disliked: Swimming pool heating broken, noise from a family in the room both sides of us.

Liked: Location and reception on arrival very helpful.
Disliked: Shower room tiny and shower itself took ages to warm and was not powerful. Service lacklustre, particularly when arriving for breakfast at 7 due to early start. Sign insisted I wait to be seated but despite going back to reception and knocking on kitchen door nobody appeared and I gave up after 10 minutes so had no breakfast.

Liked: Lovely building with pretty grounds and nice room though bath enamel chipped in places and single beds very narrow! Lovely breakfast room good choice of self serve breakfast
Disliked: Sadly they had lots staff call in sick so we weren’t able to eat eve meal as planned at hotel. After a long exhausting day this meant we had to drive out to get a meal instead which was really inconvenient and disappointing.. Single beds ( I was there with elderly mum) very narrow probably child beds.

A relaxing New Forest hotel...

Liked: Quiet ,dog-friendly hotel . Friendly staff .The Alice tea was delicious . Pleasant room .
Disliked: The bathroom didn’t have a shelf so storage of things was tricky . It looked as though it had recently fallen down . The outside light was a bit bright in the room .
