You will also have over 30 Free to Air Television Channels including Music Channels PLUS over 500 'On Demand' Movies at your fingertips ! This will become “a must have” anywhere you choose to stay in the future ! You will also have 'Free' private individual room casting Wi-Fi network in your room and an Alarm clock Radio that will charge your phone for you :) Plus we offer private off street parking. Pets are welcome too please ensure you advise us in advance if you wish to bring your pet with you as not all rooms are suitable for pets so a quick call will avoid any disappointment on arrival. Our rooms are all set well back from the road so you are assured of a good nights sleep without the passing traffic noise and our parking is private as well as well as being off street vehicles are not visible from the road we even have room for a trailer or two !

Nice and clean with a...

Liked: Clean and comfortable, light and bright.
Disliked: The fact that you have to pay cash. The TV was very poor and kept freezing if you tried to change channel. Really the tv is too cheap and nasty with poor channel selection for what you pay.

Will still be my pick of a motel in Taupo

Liked: I have always stayed at Barrington when in Taupo and is my motel of choice.
Disliked: This time for unknown reasons the noise from the next door neighbours was very loud with chuldren yelling and screaming. They also could look into my room. This is not the owners fault, but a fence like that has already been put up between the main house and the rooms would alleviate this. It is not a criticism of the owners but somehing that they need to be aware of.
