Good for the price, but...
Liked: Bridie the caretaker is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The cottage needs some upgrading, but nothing to drastic. Local area has cafes and eateries.Pictures are fairly accurate.
Disliked: No dishwasher, yet they expected dishes to be done before you left. Not easy when you are leaving early.The shower has a curtain that you constantly fight with whilst trying to shower.

Lovely quiet location and convenient.
Liked: Great location, short walk to IGA and centre of Lyndoch, kitchen was well set up and provisions provided.

A little hideaway
Liked: The cottage was a good central point to explore the Barossa.Set back from the road it was lovely and quiet.Perfect for a getaway.

We loved our 4 day...
Liked: We loved sitting on the veranda watching the kookaburras and parakeets.Plenty of room for 4 of us with great facilities and a homely feel. Great to be able to do some washing and dry it on the line at the back and borrow bikes. We loved going wine tasting at the Cellar doors and good location for that with several within walking distance. A big thank you to Birdie who helped me sort a phone issue and was delightful.

A quiet and secluded cottage...
Liked: The cottage met expectations. It would be good value for two couples but it would be cosy.We specifically looked for accommodation with a washing machine as we are travelling for a while and this was great. The TV functions worked well. The airconditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable. Very accommodating with the use of a bicycle (but a better helmet is needed – as it is a requirement)
Disliked: The shower is in a bath. This seems to be a dated idea but maybe some people prefer. The toilet door has limited clearance from the toilet bowl so tricky to negotiate.
