Liked: The two ladies tried to be helpful, didn't know about the parking facilities. Did find a hair dryer in the laundry room for me
Disliked: The bathroom was disgusting. Bars of soap one had been used. Bath mat on floor, really old. The shower was black, the drain was botched. The shower tray was bouncy. The bedroom was out of the sixties with a patterned duvet cover. One lamp had no bulk. The formica was peeling. No full length mirror. Heating doesn't come on until 6pm, there is an electric heater to boost. The headboard has never seen a duster. Pink towels on bed. The owner had absolutely no knowledge of hotels. Paid £75 only worth £30 max. You register in a sign in book! Stair carpets seen better days

Disliked: On Sunday morning I was unable to get out of the hotel. The latch was broken and there was me and 2 men who were complete strangers who were locked in. Not only did I feel very vulnerable but had there been a fire we would have been trapped. There was no staff in the building and I left messages but nobody got back to me. We had to throw a key through the window to a passer by for her to open the door. Not acceptable and if possible I would like a full refund. It was very frightening and inconvenient

Liked: Location was ideal, right in the centre of Pontefract. When checking in the staff member was very nice and helped locate parking for me upon check in
Disliked: The room and bathroom we're very outdated. There was only a used bar of soap in the shower to use, luckily I'd brought my own. Had to call to enter the building on check in as door was locked, also nobody was available for check out so I just left my key on the door
