Liked: Grand old Victorian house. Very central location in Charleston close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended!

Liked: Location excellent! Staff was exceedingly friendly and nice. Great breakfast. Friendly and interesting guests. Would stay there again.
Disliked: Building and rooms a little more shabbier and worn than expected. Minor neglect that could be easily taken care of. However, it was comfortable and clean.

Disliked: Felt like it needed a little tlc in the upkeep . Room needed paint ...trim ,. ceiling . I am really not yo fussy but even the flowers at the breakfast table you could tell had been there for days as the water was really old & flowers wilted. Decor for Christmas looked thrown together, even artificial tree . Staff very pleasant & accommodating.
