Disappointing

Liked: The receptionist, who was lovely even though she had a huge workload. She was the receptionist, cleaner and also attended to the outside of the motel. We also enjoyed the Chinese restaurant which is attached to the motel. They brought it to our room and it was good but a little expensive.
Disliked: Very over rated for what you get. Old furniture and fittings. Patched up walls. The air conditioner took ages to work. I wouldn't stay again, especially not for $250 per night but it was the only place available for the event that we attended in Ballarat.

Comfortable accommodation

Liked: Good motel style accommodation - good size room with kitchenette and comfortable bed. The front office person (owner I think) was exceptional - first room I had was unfortunately next to the most awful man who decided to recreate a Metallica concert at bedtime - I banged on the wall but he just turned the music up, staff banged on his door but he didn’t answer. No fault of the hotelier - some people are just foul human beings who don’t know how to live civilly in society. I was moved quickly (with many apologies and assistance) to the other end of the building to lovely room while the hotelier tried to deal with the issue. I was very appreciative.

Disliked: no disabled parking and narrow lane. Very difficult in a large vehicle
