Fantastic stay in a wonderful...

Liked: Lovely room and guest areas in a super location with clear instructions for late access. Also we had to leave before breakfast was served and Dennis kindly prepared us a great takeaway breakfast.
Disliked: The property was great my only comment would be that it would be good to have the opportunity to know what breakfast was before it was served, to allow us to decline any parts of it - in our case we were brought bagels with egg, cheese, ham, tomato and lettuce and we would prefer without meat. Aside from that the breakfast bagel was delicious.

Absolutely lovely B&B, exceptional location...

Liked: Barclay House has real charm. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to everything in Vancouver and close to public transport. Dennis the B&B manager is so friendly and helpful! He made us feel so welcomed and was always available to chat. The breakfast was good and large! Dennis makes the muffins fresh daily and they are to die for. Would highly recommend staying here!

Liked: Decorated for Christmas and size of room, fireplace and owner was jolly
Disliked: A bit run down, water leak in ceiling of room and desk, chairs and windows needed painted. Breakfast very basic, only coffee, eggs, toast, small fruit/activa yogurt and small store muffin.

Felt like being at home.
