Liked: Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Disliked: Facilities were a bit dated, getting a bit rough around the edges. Parking limited.

Good but needing renewal.

Liked: Great location in middle of Darlington. Lovely surroundings, restaurant and bar. Good price.
Disliked: Bathroom was very tired. Work needs to be done on shower and the beds need new mattresses. Room in general needs a makeover to accommodate people with a disability. Breakfast was good but any hot food on a buffet gets quickly dried up and tough.

Enjoyable, comfortable hearty friendly stay.

Liked: My fiancé and stayed here due to wedding at a nearby venue, We had an executive suite so plenty of room and the bed was so comfortable, breakfast was very delicious and plentiful, the reception staff was very polite and helpful, I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
Disliked: The bar closed at 11pm as don’t have a late licence, so unable to get a drink at the bar for a nightcap after our event.

Nice visit, Harrison in the...

Liked: Had an enjoyable evening meal, nothing to write home about, pretty much as you would get from most hotels, buffet breakfast also good, however scrambled eggs were not very nice, a fried egg would be nice without having to order it seperatley, other than that all was good. Harrison in the bar made our stay, very nice manner and interaction was first class, a valuable asset to this hotel, best of the bunch.
Disliked: Pretty much run of the mill hotel, just wonder if Mr B himself has ever stayed there!
