Banana Bungalow's location is fantastic! Right in the heart of Hollywood and steps away from all the hotspots. You can see the HOLLYWOOD sign right from the courtyard. We have loads of freebies including breakfast, Wi-Fi and social activities. Our staff is super friendly and helpful, ready to make your Los Angeles stay the best ever! The courtyard has amenities including a large screen TV, awesome lounge furniture with umbrellas, free coffee and tea, basketball, foosball, table tennis, large flame heaters, palm trees, music and more. Guests can also relax in the movie lounge or billiards room with free common computers, or enjoy the karaoke stage on-site with occasional live musical performances. Out back is the Tiki Garden which will transport you to a tropical island with Southern California sunbathing and an outdoor shower to cool off in. There is free fast reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property and secure affordable parking. Private rooms have a Queen bed plus one or two twin beds, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, TV with satellite channels, heating and air conditioning, a safe, a closet, a wall fan, and a USB charging station for your phone. Good vibe

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel! The space is great, well-organized, and comfortable. They even hosted a karaoke and BBQ night with free hot dogs, which was a really fun touch! When we arrived on March 8 around 7 PM, a friendly blond guy at the front desk checked us in and gave us an upgrade we asked for and also gave us a great restaurant recommendation—super welcoming!The space where the breakfeast is served is really nice and has a good ambient! The girl who served us was also friendly
Disliked: However, check-out on March 9 at 10 AM was a different experience. The staff member on duty (a slim Asian guy with long hair) was rude and impatient, rolling his eyes multiple times. He also seemed annoyed by my English, which is completely unacceptable for someone working in hospitality.The room we stayed in was above the garage door so it was really noisy!

Banana Bungalow/Vibe-Hollywood friend

Liked: Luv this place. When I go back to the states, LA, luv to stay here. The assortment of people who work there are kind and helpful. It’s right in the heart of Hollywood.
Disliked: Nothing about the property. Sometimes the other guests are unfriendly. That bugs me.

Great stay lots to do.

Liked: Breakfast was great and the room was always clean location was great for downtown Hollywood and LA with lots to do in the location.Saturday nights was always fun with a bbq and a karaoke.
Disliked: More variety in breakfast.
